Rock and roll the dice

He was breathing heavily. The run to hide behind the big rock was chaotic.but he was able to escape the giants ants-men. He even killed one with his last arrow. He was now a few steps from his destiny.

Now roll the dice to choose what happens :

1 or 2 : Once he was sure nobody was going to stop him, he ran to the yellow house on top of the hill. To get there he would have to race between the dense forest. There was a communication device in the house where he could call for help, but it has a fifty percent chance of working.

3 or 4 : He looked back and the ants-men were advancing. He then took his silex to make some fire and spread it to the bushes around him. He then thought to have enough time to join the paved way that was on his left over the bridge. And they had a thirty percent chance of finding someone on the road to help him.

5 or 6 : He got up and ran towards the entrance of the cave on his right. He knew that it led to the castle a few kilometers away, but the sign at the entrance indicating no trespassing. There was definitely danger in that cave, like giant mice and deadly scorpions. But at least the giant ants-men would not enter in the cave. There was eighty percent change he would arrive to the castle without too much damages.

The dice rolled out of the table and indicated the number ….

  1. *rummaging, rummaging, rummaging* “Aha! There’s my trusty six sided dice.” *Rolling….* “Wow, it landed on the edge between 3 and 5!” That means that 1, 2, 4, and 6 are all just as likey to be selected if the dice ever decides to fall onto a side. But what does that mean for our protagonist? He uses his super powers, the magic that is his birth right, to start a fire and ward off the ants-men, and then quickly float up the hill to send out a message for aide, before traipsing past the “No Trespassing” sign and entering the cave that leads to the castle. There may be things in the cave that should be left undisturbed, but that doesn’t bother him. He is a force that shouldn’t be trifled with as well.
